Beacon's journey began in 1928 in Charlestown, Massachusetts, as a small regional firm with 32 employees. Since then, Beacon has grown to be a trusted supplier of building materials for contractors and their businesses across North America. Beacon has more than 8,000 employees, 530 locations and $9 billion in revenue. Today, Beacon (NASDAQ: BECN) is the only specialty distributor of roofing and complementary products that is publicly traded. We are listed in the Fortune 500 and we are proud that our Company Values are the foundation of our business. 

Beacon Roofing Supply Canada Company emerged as a major distributor of roofing and building materials through the 1999 merger of two major distributors, Groupe Bédard and Exeltherm Supply. Beacon Roofing Supply Canada provides Beacon Roofing Supply with a history of roofing dating back to 1892. Today, there are 18 branches across Canada.
